How to delete your proposals, contracts, and invoices permanently.

Deleting contracts and proposals

You have the option to manually delete contracts or proposals by navigating to 'Client Management' in the left-hand navigation bar and selecting the 'Contracts' or 'Proposals' page.

Next, locate the contract or proposal you would like to delete. Select the 3 dots on the right-hand side of the document and select 'Delete':

Alternatively, you can delete the contract or proposal from within the document itself:

Note: If you have any invoices linked to contracts or proposals, these will be deleted as well.

In this case, a deletion pop-up window will appear informing you of the action:

Deleting Invoices

To delete an Invoice, navigate to 'Financial Management' and select the 'Invoices' page. Once you've located the invoice you'd like to delete, select the 3 dots next to the invoice and select 'Delete':

FAQ

  • If I delete an invoice when I had already received a payment for it, will I lose that money or will the money collected be refunded?

No, deleting an invoice won't affect the payment that was collected. However, it will impact being able to process a refund on the invoice through the platform. We recommend downloading invoices as PDF's before deleting them for record-keeping purposes.

  • Help! I've accidentally deleted my Invoice/Proposal/Contract. Is there any way to recover this?

No, deleting any documents is considered permanent and irreversible. This includes any documents, expenses, hours, or other items that were attached to the invoice at the time of deletion.

Note: If your invoice includes any items, such as billed hours or billed expenses, you will have the option to revert these items to 'Unbilled' when deleting the invoice.
