View and schedule tasks
The Workload view displays both scheduled and unscheduled tasks so you can manage them against your team’s available capacity.
To create a new task, select New Task.
To schedule existing work, select View unplanned tasks and drag an unscheduled task to a team member.
Adjust a task’s start or due date by dragging it along the timeline.
Split task time across days
To better reflect how work is distributed, you can split a task’s scheduled time across multiple days. This makes planning more accurate and helps ensure workloads are balanced.
Right-click a task to split its time across multiple days.
Hover over a task to preview how time distribution changes.
Note: Tasks must include both an assignee and a due date to appear in the Workload view.
Manage capacity and assignments
The Workload view gives you tools to rebalance workloads and manage availability across your team. You can redistribute tasks, check individual capacity, and account for time off.
Drag and drop tasks between team members to rebalance workloads.
See available capacity instantly with the ring around each team member’s avatar.
Add time off by clicking and dragging days within the time off section under a team member's name. This will reduce the team member's capacity for the specified period.
