The Workload View under Resourcing helps you manage team utilization across project tasks, making it easier to balance your team's workload. This simplifies work planning and allocation based on task estimates.
See all your unplanned tasks and schedule them into your Workload View based on your team's capacities:
To ensure that a task appears in the Workload View, the task must have both an assignee and a due date. This makes sure that the task is linked to a specific team member and has a defined deadline.
To create a new task, use the 'Add Task' button or simply click and drag on the timeline. You can also adjust an existing task's start or due date by dragging it along the timeline to modify its schedule.
If you need to add time off for a team member, select their name and hover over the chart to reveal the plus (+) icon. Clicking the icon will open a pop-up where you can input details such as the time-off category, start and end dates and hours per day:
This will reduce the team member's capacity for the specified period.
