How Many Months Of Expenses Can I Import From My Bank Account And Credit Card?

Note: This article refers to expense accounts being imported from connected accounts.

As you know likely already know, you can import expenses into Bonsai automatically by connecting your bank account. Once you've selected the account and authorized the connection, you can specify the time period for which you want your expenses to be synced to Bonsai from your bank account.

Then once you connect your bank account, we ask you to select the time frame of the expenses you want to import, as shown below. The options are:

  • Last 3 months

  • Last 6 months

  • Last 12 months

  • Expenses since the beginning of this year

  • Expenses since the beginning of last year

Please check this article to know about the possible reasons.

All debit transactions like the ones listed below will be imported as expenses on your account:

  • Card transaction

  • ATM withdrawal

  • ACH pull transfers

  • ACH push transfers

  • Wires
