Updating the company logo and header on your documents

A step-by-step guide to change your company logo and adjust the header on your Bonsai account and documents.

Updated over a week ago

You may want to change the logo associated with your company. This logo is displayed on your profile as well as on the invoices, contracts, and proposals issued from your account. The steps below show you how to change the company logo and change the size of the company logo on your documents.

Changing your company logo

To change the default company logo to one of your own, you will need to update this in your Company Settings.

To do so, click on your logo on the bottom left of the screen, then click on 'Settings':

From here, click on the 'Company' page and click on the 'Branding' tab. Next, click on the 'Add logo' button and select your preferred logo image:

Make sure you click on 'Save Changes' on the top right of the screen to ensure your logo is saved.

Changing the size of the logo

You can also change the size of your logo on contracts, invoices, and proposals by clicking on the defaulted option that shows "Small Square - 84 x 84":

Make sure you click on 'Save Changes' on the top right of the screen to ensure your logo is saved.

Changing the header

You can change the header background displayed on your invoices by selecting the option under 'Header Image':

This will adjust the specific header on your invoices. You are able to choose from a selection of preloaded images, or upload your own header if you prefer.

Make sure you click on 'Save Changes' on the top right of the screen to ensure your logo is saved.

Note: changing the header will not affect proposals or contracts, as these will need to be adjusted on a per-document basis. You can create your own templates that use specific headers by setting up a Proposal/Contract template. More information on how to set up a template can be found here.
