Updating your payment methods
It's simple to update your payment methods. Just click on "Edit Payment Methods" on the Invoices page, or directly within any invoice you've crafted.
Note: You may need to create a draft invoice to see this option appear
Bonsai Payments
Bonsai Payments is our proprietary platform, designed to give us greater flexibility and control over payment features.
Note: Bonsai Payments is currently available in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia. Instant Payouts are exclusive to US users.

While we wish we could support every business, there are certain cases in which we are not able to offer our financial products (Bonsai Payments and Bonsai Banking) to all US customers.
Stripe
Prefer Stripe? No problem. Our direct Stripe integration allows you to accept Credit Card and ACH payments, similar to Bonsai Payments, minus the Instant Payout feature. You'll manage this through your own Stripe account.
In order to unlock the ability to use Stripe Payments, you may need to deactivate Bonsai Payments as a payment method first. To do this, you will need to complete the following steps:
Navigate to the Payments page of your Bonsai Account
Click on the three dots on the top right and click on 'Deactivate Payment Method'
Navigate to the Invoices page of your Bonsai account and click on 'Edit Payment Methods'
You should now see the option to connect your Stripe Payments account.

PayPal
Integrate PayPal directly into your invoices for a convenient payment option. PayPal offers a variety of payment methods depending on your account and country, including PayPal Checkout, credit and debit, Pay Later, and Venmo.
This option also uses your personal PayPal account.
