Who can sign in with a Zoom account?
You can use Sign in with Zoom to access Bonsai only if your Bonsai account was created or connected through Zoom. This applies if you:
Signed up for Bonsai using the Sign up with Zoom option
Purchased Bonsai through Zoom
If your Bonsai account was created directly through Bonsai (without using the Sign up with Zoom feature), you may not be able to use Sign in with Zoom unless your subscription was originally purchased through Zoom.
Logging in with Zoom and managing accounts
Signing in with Zoom is only used as a login method for eligible accounts. It does not merge your Zoom and Bonsai accounts.
Keep in mind:
Zoom and Bonsai each maintain their own authentication
Your Zoom and Bonsai credentials do not sync
Signing in with Zoom does not merge accounts, passwords, settings, or subscriptions
Changes made in Zoom do not automatically update your Bonsai account, and changes made in Bonsai do not automatically update your Zoom account
Billing and subscription management may be handled separately depending on where you purchased Bonsai
FAQs
Will my Bonsai and Zoom passwords sync?
No, credentials remain separate and do not sync between platforms.
Can I access all Zoom features through Bonsai?
No, at this time only meeting synchronization is supported. Other Zoom features remain in Zoom.
What happens if I change my Zoom password?
Bonsai login via Zoom will continue to work, but only with the updated credentials.
