Exploring Bonsai's supported countries and languages

Bonsai is designed to be versatile and user-friendly across various regions and languages. Here’s a breakdown of the countries and languages supported.

Countries

The platform is accessible to users in any country. Explore the sections below to discover the supported regions based on each document type.

Contracts

We offer generic contracts with editable text that can be adapted for use in any country.

The contract templates on Bonsai are standard for the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia.

Proposals, time tracking and invoices 

Our proposals, time tracking, and invoices can be technically used in any country, and we support over 100 currencies.

Payment is provided by third-party services which have different geographic availabilities. For the most up-to-date information on supported regions, take a look at the resources provided by Stripe and PayPal.

If you'd like to get paid outside of Bonsai, you can also do so by providing instructions for an external payment method directly on your invoice. To learn more about this process, head over to our article on Adding custom/offline payment instructions to invoices.

Expense tracking

Expenses can be tracked in any of our 100 supported currencies, but for automated importing from a bank account, the account must be in the US or Canada.

Languages

At this time, Bonsai's interface is currently only available in English.

Bonsai is continually working to expand its language options to better serve a global audience. If your preferred language is not listed, make a suggestion on our public feature request board or inform our Support team.

We keep track of all requests internally and can hopefully support them in the future.
