Accessing member settings
To configure a team member’s settings:
Navigate to the Team page > Members
Click your own name or select a team member
The member settings panel will open
Within this screen, you can manage all member-specific configurations.
Member configuration options
Configure permissions
User permissions define the level of access each team member has within the company account. Permissions control who can:
View information
Create or edit content
Manage settings
Access workflows
Configure operational areas across the platform
To configure a member’s permissions:
Click on the 'Permission Profile' dropdown menu
Select the appropriate permission profile
New permission will be saved and applied

Configure roles
Roles define a team member’s function within your organization. Examples include:
Project Manager
Designer
Developer
Consultant
Roles help standardize permissions, reporting, and billing configurations across the company.
To assign or update a role:
Click on the 'Role' dropdown menu
Select the appropriate permission profile
New role will be saved and applied
Role-Based billing
Roles can be connected to rate cards so project billing automatically reflects the assigned role rates.

Configure teams
Teams help organize members into departments, functions, or groups. Examples:

Product
Customer Success
Teams improve filtering, reporting, and resource management throughout the platform.
Assign a Team
To assign a member to a team:
Click on the 'Teams' dropdown menu
Select the appropriate permission profile
New Team will be saved and applied
Please note that members can be assigned to multiple teams. You can add or remove teams at any time by clicking the “x” next to the team name.
Configure holiday calendars
Assign a holiday calendar to ensure accurate scheduling, availability, and capacity calculations. To create or manage Holiday Calendars:
Navigate to Company Settings
Select Time Off / Holidays
Create or edit a holiday calendar
Assign the appropriate calendar to team members
This ensures holidays and non-working days are reflected correctly across the platform.
Configure capacity
Capacity defines the number of hours a member is available to work. Capacity settings help track:
Utilization
Availability
Workload balancing
Resource planning
Capacity data is reflected directly within the Timesheets page.
To configure capacity:
Navigate to the Capacity section
Choose either:
Daily capacity
Weekly capacity
Enter the available working hours
Changes will be saved
Configure rates
Rates are used for:
Client billing
Cost tracking
Profitability reporting
Financial forecasting
There are two primary rate types:
Billable Rate
Cost Rate
Configure 'Billable Rate'
The Billable Rate is the default hourly rate charged for the member’s tracked time unless overridden by project-specific settings.
To configure a billable rate:
Open the member settings page
Navigate to the Rates section
Enter the member’s billable hourly rate
Billable rates are used for:
Client invoicing
Revenue calculations
Project billing reports
Configure 'Cost Rate'
The Cost Rate represents the internal hourly cost of the team member.
This value helps measure project profitability and internal labor costs.
To configure a cost rate:
Open the member settings page
Navigate to the Rates section
Enter the member’s hourly cost rate
Where cost data appears
Cost data can be viewed in:
1. Time tracking page
Enable the cost field to automatically calculate labor costs based on tracked time.
2. Project Insights → Cost Breakdown
Review project costs, profitability, and labor analysis.
