Clients are not required to have a Bonsai account in order to accept proposals, sign contracts, or pay invoices via Stripe (credit/debit card), Paypal, or outside Bonsai. 

If you client is paying an invoice via ACH, they will not need to sign up for a Bonsai account if they can log into their bank account using our secure banking partner. If they need to set up their bank account using micro-deposits, then they will need to create a Bonsai account and verify 2 micro-deposits to proceed.

However, in most cases they should be able to find their bank and log in for instant verification without needing to create a Bonsai account.

If they do need to create a Bonsai account, it only takes 1 minute and we do not send them any other emails aside from the ones associated with your payment.
