How clients and subcontractors sign documents
When your client or subcontractor opens their contract on Bonsai, they will encounter a user-friendly interface that allows them to review and sign the contract effortlessly.
To sign the contract, the client or subcontractor simply needs to select the ‘Sign Contract’ button. From here, they will be prompted to confirm their legal name, email, and company role (if applicable).
Once they click ‘Confirm Signature’, your contract is complete. The client or subcontractor’s view will indicate when the contract was accepted and offer the option to download a PDF version of the document. They will receive an email confirmation of the contract being signed as well.
If notifications are enabled on your account, you will be notified when the contract has been signed by the client.
How upfront payments on contracts appear
If there is an upfront payment required on your contract, a popup to complete this payment will appear after signing the contract.
