Set event types with different durations

Learn how to configure meetings with various durations in few simple steps.

Event types allow you to define how long meetings last and how clients book time with you. You can adjust the duration of an existing event or create multiple event types with different lengths to support various meeting needs.

This gives you flexibility to offer short calls, standard meetings, or longer sessions using separate booking options.

Edit the duration of an existing event type

To edit an event type:

  1. Open the left navigation menu > More > CRM

  2. Locate your event type

  3. Open the additional options menu

  4. Select Edit Event Type

Update the meeting duration

To change the duration:

  1. Go to the Details tab

  2. Find the Duration field

  3. Enter your preferred meeting length

  4. Click Save Changes

The updated duration will apply to all future bookings for that event type.

Alternatively, you can create additional event types with durations such as 45 minutes or 90 minutes and use separate booking pages for each.

When to use multiple event durations

Creating multiple event types is useful when:

  • You offer both short and long consultations

  • Different services require different time commitments

  • You want clients to choose from predefined time options

  • You need separate booking flows for different meeting types
