Taking a closer look at invalid email addresses and unrecognized domains

Updated over a week ago

Occasionally, when adding a new client, you might encounter a message stating "Please enter a valid email":

This message isn't always an indication of an invalid email address. Sometimes, it occurs because our system may not recognize the domain. In such cases, we suggest verifying the domain with your client.

With that, we use email-validation services to check the validity of email addresses. This helps users catch typos and protects users against spam. Though, if the email address is from a custom hosting or a less common provider, our validation may mistakenly deem it invalid due to temporary issues with their host or bounced email checks.

If you're confident your client's email address is accurate, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@hellobonsai.com -- we'll promptly resolve the issue by whitelisting the email address.
