How to access project settings
You can edit all project details from the project settings page.
Go to Productivity > Projects
Select your project
Click the three dots (•••) in the top right corner
Select Settings
This opens your project configuration, including Details, Billing, Budget, and Task Lists.
Here you’ll find the project Details, Billing, Budget and Task Lists tabs.
How to edit project details
You can update core project information at any time.
Project title
Edit the title directly in the Title field
Changes are saved automatically
Project ID
View or manually update the project number
Useful for internal tracking or referencing
Project start and end dates
Click the date field to open the calendar
Select a new start or end date
End dates are optional
All changes are saved automatically once selected.
How to set billing type for a project
Billing type controls how you charge for project work.
You can choose from four billing types:
Time & Materials
Track and bill based on time worked
Choose a rate:
Member hourly rate
Project hourly rate
Service hourly rate
Fixed fee
Set a total project fee (e.g., $10,000)
Optionally track time using hourly rates
Retainer
Set a recurring billing fee
Choose a billing cycle:
Weekly
Monthly
Quarterly
Every 6 months
Yearly
Apply a billable rate for tracked time
Non-billable
Use for internal or non-client work
No billing is applied
How to set and manage a project budget
You can define a budget to track time or spending for your project.

Enter the budget amount
Define what counts toward the budget

Additionally, the gantt view provides a visual overview of project timelines and budget usage.
Projects are color-coded by status (e.g., in progress)
Each project includes a progress bar
The progress bar reflects budget usage percentage
Example:
A project at 34% budget usage will show 34% filled in the progress bar
This allows quick assessment of project health.
How to create and use custom project fields
Custom fields let you track additional project data in list view.
Create a custom field
Go to Projects
Switch to List View
Click the three dots (•••) in the top right
Select Custom Fields
Click + Add Custom Field
Choose field type:
Text
Number
Date
URL
Add a field name and save
Once you have chosen your preference for the custom field, you'll be required to add a title for that field (ex. 'Notes').
Once you have added this and saved it, it will appear within the list of fields to choose from:
When you enable that field, it will appear as a column under your 'List View' of your projects:
