Deactivate your Bonsai account
Note: Deactivating your account will archive all your projects, proposals, contracts, invoices and other account data.
To deactivate your account:
Click on your profile picture on the top right-hand corner
Open My Account
Select De-activate Account at the bottom of the page
When you deactivate your account:
All projects, proposals, contracts, invoices, and related data are archived
Any active subscription is automatically downgraded or stopped
Your account becomes inactive
If you'd like to restore your account at any time, you can reach out to our Support team and we'll allow you to log in with that same account again, though some of your data may not be recoverable.
Permanently deleting your account data
How deletion works
If you want to permanently delete all account data, you must contact Bonsai Support via support@hellobonsai.com or through the chat widget within their Bonsai account
Important conditions
Some accounts may not be eligible for full deletion due to legal or operational requirements
Deletion is irreversible
Once completed, all data is permanently removed and cannot be restored
