The payout accounts you can connect to Bonsai Payments

Here are the type of payout accounts you can use with your Bonsai Payments account.

Note: This only applies to users who are eligible to use Bonsai Payments. The current countries that are supported include: United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.

Adding a payout account can be done directly from the Payments page of your Bonsai account.

The details required to connect your bank account by country

Important: Only connect an account that is in the currency of the country you selected during the Bonsai account creation. If you connect an account that is in a different currency, you will be charged Foreign Exchange fees by our payment processing provider. More information about these fees can be found here.

  • United States

    • Account Holder Name

    • Account Type (Business or Personal)

    • Routing Number

    • Account Number

  • Canada

    • Account Holder Name

    • Account Type (Business or Personal)

    • Transit number

    • Institution number

    • Account number

  • Australia

    • Account Holder Name

    • Account Type (Business or Personal)

    • BSB (Bank Service Branch code)

    • Account number

  • United Kingdom

    • Account Holder Name

    • Account Type (Business or Personal)

    • Sort code

    • Account number

Debit Cards

Users in the United States are able to add their Debit Cards as a payout option. At this time, this option is unavailable for users from Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Bonsai Business Banking Account

If you have an open Bonsai Business Banking Account, your payout option will be this account be default and will be unable to be changed. Of course, once payments are deposited into this account, you'll be able to transfer your funds into an external bank account of your choice.
