Verification of your account is only applicable if you are utilizing Bonsai Payments.
Most common problems with setting up your payments/payouts:
Incomplete account information (missing address, missing tax ID or other details)
Mismatched ID verification (name on ID does not match the account/business name)
EIN Number unable to be verified (This is usually caused by a newly registered EIN Number with the IRS)
Max verification attempts reached (Attempted to verify your account too many times)
To ensure you have done all the required steps, go to the Payments page of your Bonsai account. Here, you may have received a message that requires you to verify your account information prior to receiving payments/payouts.
Then click the link that says "Update Info", which will take you back to the account setup flow. Depending on where you are in the setup process, this message may appear differently.
Please note that fully verifying your information can take up to 5 business days to complete after it is submitted, if your account is subject to manual review by Stripe.
